Zelle
Zelle is a fast, safe, and easy way to send money to friends and family in the U.S. This service is available through partnering banks and credit unions, with money moving directly from bank account to bank account. If your financial institution offers Zelle, you can access it through your mobile banking app or online banking. For those whose banks do not offer Zelle, the Zelle app provides a solution to send money to enrolled users. With just the recipient's email address or U.S. mobile number, you can settle payments securely. Additionally, there are no fees charged by Zelle for using the service, though mobile carrier or bank fees may still apply. To get started, you can download the Zelle app and enroll using a Visa or Mastercard debit card linked to a U.S. checking account, or by using your online banking login credentials if your bank supports this feature. Once enrolled, you can choose a person to pay or request money from and confirm the amount before sending. If the recipient is already enrolled with Zelle, they will typically receive the money within minutes. If not, they will be notified and guided through a simple process to complete the payment. Please note that having a U.S. bank account is a prerequisite for using Zelle.
