myID - Australian Government
The Australian Government has launched the myGovID app, a digital identity app that allows users to prove their identity and access participating government online services securely. Different from the myGov app, myGovID can be used to sign in to myGov accounts.
Setting up myGovID is simple and involves downloading the app, entering personal details, and verifying identity strength. This can be done by submitting Australian identity documents and completing a face verification check.
