Schlage Home
The Schlage Home app allows users to control and monitor their locks from their smartphone using a secure encrypted connection. It is compatible with various smart lock models including the Schlage Encode Plus™ Smart WiFi Deadbolt, Schlage Encode™ Smart WiFi Deadbolt, Schlage Encode™ Smart WiFi Lever, and Schlage Sense® Smart Deadbolt. The app offers features such as remote lock/unlock, access code management, scheduling, virtual key sharing, activity history, push notifications, time delay for auto-locking, and voice control with compatible devices.
The Schlage Encode Plus Smart WiFi Deadbolt also works with Apple HomeKit, allowing users to create an Apple home key for easy and secure access using their iPhone or Apple Watch. They can also use Siri voice control, incorporate the lock into automations, and control it remotely with the Apple Home app when connected to a HomePod or Apple TV set up as a home hub.
The Schlage Sense Smart Deadbolt features Bluetooth technology and can be controlled using the Schlage Home app within Bluetooth range. It offers similar features as the Encode locks including lock/unlock, access code management, scheduling, virtual key sharing, activity history, time delay for auto-locking, and alarm warnings. When paired with a Schlage Sense WiFi Adapter and home WiFi network, users can remotely control and manage the lock, enjoy voice control with compatible devices, receive push notifications, and integrate with Apple HomeKit when using a HomePod, Apple TV, or iPad as a home hub.
Note that the Schlage Connect Smart Deadbolt is not supported by the Schlage Home app. Compatibility information and additional details can be found on Schlage's website. The app works best on iPhone 11 or newer models.
