Tile - Find lost keys & phone
Tile is a Bluetooth tracking device that helps users find their misplaced belongings. It can be attached to keys, wallets, bags, and more. When within Bluetooth range, users can use the Tile app to ring their Tile and locate their belongings nearby. Additionally, when the Tile is outside of Bluetooth range, the app can show the Tile's most recent location on a map.
The Tile also has a feature that allows users to double press the button on their Tile to make their phone ring, even when it is on silent.
Users can also utilize the Tile Network to help find their lost items. By adding their contact information to the Tile, anyone who scans the QR code on the lost Tile can reach out to the owner. Tile is also compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant, making finding belongings even easier.
For a more robust finding experience, users can subscribe to the Tile Premium plan, which offers features such as Smart Alert notifications and item reimbursement up to the limit set by the plan. New users are eligible for a 30-day free trial of either the Premium or Premium Protect plan. The Premium and Premium Protect plans require the installation of the Tile app, ownership of a Tile-enabled device, and acceptance of Tile's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Some exclusions and conditions apply, and reimbursement services are only available to subscribers in the United States.
The app utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) and Location Services to communicate with and locate Tiles based on the user's phone location. It is important to note that continued use of GPS or Bluetooth in the background can decrease battery life. Using the Tile app requires the purchase of a Tile-enabled device, registration of a Tile account, and acceptance of Tile's Terms of Service and Privacy Policy. Installation and updates of the app are subject to the user's consent, and automatic updates can be disabled through device settings. Any changes made to data recording or storage will be consistent with Tile's Privacy Policy, and users can withdraw their consent at any time by removing or disabling the app.
